Roads and the highway
Every road must connect to the highway; a road that is not connected brings nobody. Streets are cheap; avenues are wider and look grand.
How homes grow
A Residential Zone starts as a small house. Deliver the goods it asks for and it grows a tier: more residents, more taxes. Homes can grow to tier 2 from level 2, tier 3 from level 8, tier 4 from level 16 and tier 5 from level 25.
Tier 6 follows from level 44, Tier 7 from level 60 and Tier 8, the tallest, from level 80.

Villa, Tower and Office Zones
From level 40, the Villa Zone (2×2) holds three times the residents of a home, and from level 54 the Tower Zone (2×2) holds four times as many. Each tier has a look of its own.
From level 64, the Office Zone grows from a small office into a skyscraper. It holds twice the people of a home, and they pay taxes just like residents.
Land, prices and decorations
Need more room? Expand your land with land parts from freight, flights and level rewards.
Big cities pay more. Each further copy of a building that unlocks after level 20 costs 25% more than the one before (not zones, services or buildings you can have only one of). Each plot of land costs more than the one before, a Storage upgrade costs 200 coins times its level squared, and the fifth and later production slots cost 8,000 coins each. What you already own stays as it is.
From level 21, the first 3 copies of a small park or play area cost the same; each one after that costs 25% more than the one before. Building prices rise with the level a building unlocks at: Building prices.
From level 30, the Decorations tab has billboards, arches, pillars, castle walls and more. They are just for looks: they add no residents or happiness.
